Awarded of the Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, summa cum laude, 26.3.1983 at the “Università degli Studi” di Bari.

After the military service, he served as researcher at the National Agency for Energy and Environment (ENEA) from 1984 to 1992

Assistant professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Reggio Calabria, 1992-2001

Associate professor of Fluid Machinery, disciplinary scientific sector (SSD) ING-IND/08, at Politecnico di Bari, 1st Faculty of Engineering from 2001.

Full Professor of Fluid Machinery and Energy Systems since Dec.2017 at the Polytechnic University of Bari

Coordinator of the Master in Mechanical Engineering, triennium 2015-2018, and triennium 2018-2021
