Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the Serenity Android application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

Serenity is provided for your personal use as a private journal. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not violate any applicable laws or regulations.

2. Data Ownership

Your journal entries and backup data belong to you. The App does not upload your entries to any external servers. If you choose to enable backup, your data is stored in your own Google Drive account.

3. Intellectual Property

The Serenity app, its name, logo, design, and code are the intellectual property of the developer. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the App without explicit permission.

4. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for any data loss, device issues, or other damages that may result from the use of the App, including backup errors or third-party service failures.

5. Third-party Services

The App may use third-party services such as Google Drive for backups and analytics tools for improving performance. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the new Terms.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time, especially in cases of misuse or violation of these Terms.
