Three parts to SEO
There are many different facets to search engine optimisation, but SEO can broadly be broken down into three main areas:
- Optimising the website’s HTML and coding so that any barriers to it being indexed correctly are removed.
- Editing its content to make sure it is relevant to the search terms being targeted.
- Promoting the website by increasing the amount of inbound links (commonly known as backlinks).
Technical audit of website
The first step of SEO is getting the website set up correctly. Here the SEO specialist will look at the HTML (hyper text markup language) with which the website is built. Other information will be taken into account such as information included in the main content tags and attributes on the page, such as Title tags, ALT attributes, keywords in the url, meta descriptions, header tags and whether the website loads correctly on different devices.
Content is King
Another really important area of search engine optimisation is making sure the content of web pages is correct. This aspect of SEO includes many areas such as ensuring that each page has a unique and descriptive title/description and the correct amount of keywords for each targetted search term are contained in each page. Great content attracts Google as well as attracting people. Don't fall into the trap of writing content for Google. This isn't a great idea. You should be writing content for people as Google's algorithms are becoming more complex and can spot a pretend site.
Creating links to your site
The number of people that link to your website directly influences your position in the search engine rankings so an industry has sprung up around getting relevant sites to point to your website. If Google detects that you have paid for the link from a website or that you own the website that links to you then you can be penalised for it. This is where SEO specialists are really important. They have built links up over the years and know which ones are profitable and which ones are not.
Do not try to avoid no-follow links completely. These links may have value in improving your search rank. If you perform an SEO audit now and then, you make sure your website’s up-to-date. It should be part of your frequent site maintenance cycle, I think. If the competition in your niche is high, you’ll have a hard time ranking on competitive head terms. If you have little competition, you’ll even be able to rank for head terms. It sounds so very easy! Search Engines are not humans. They do not read your content; they just evaluate it, based on text, language analysis and other factors. If you use the right mixture of keywords, link juice and backlink strategies, you will manage to get a good rank on SERPs. Content is a powerful marketing tool. One of the most important elements to building an online marketing strategy around SEO is empathy for your audience. Once you grasp what your target market is looking for, you can more effectively reach and keep those users.
Keyword research is the basis of all search marketing
On the internet, the de facto “language” of structured data is schema.org. Schema.org is a democratic library of internet things. Look at any forums, blogs, message boards or other chat services you might be using. In many of these environments, it is acceptable for users to give contact information and even drop links to their websites, as long as they do it in a certain way. Focus on publishing compelling, quality content that is uniquely different and more valuable than anything else out there. That usually means it’s long-form content. What it boils down to is that the exact strategy you’re using for on-page SEO -- creating relevant, high-qulity content for a human audience -- should also help take care of your off-page SEO. It’s the classic two birds/one stone scenario. You can increase your search rankings and earn natural inbound links by creating amazing content. Inbound links can come from your own website (linking from one page to another) or other web properties you control.
Dynamic vs Static- Which is preferred?
Integrate keywords, not only into the content itself, but also into the title, the meta description and even the canonical URL. I don't care if you are creating a blog post, ecommerce store page or sales-landing page. It needs to be better than the rest, or else neither Google nor your audience will ever take note. Creating descriptive categories and filenames for the documents on your website can not only help you keep your site better organized, but it could also lead to better crawling of your documents by search engines. Also, it can create easier, "friendlier" URLs for those that want to link to your content. SEO and positioning your website to rank top spots in the search engines require some careful planning. Just like setting up a business or going to war, it requires strategizing for optimal results. Although word count doesn’t rule the SEO world – nobody will read your stuff if it’s not helpful to them.
Improve engagement to improve rankings

It is not just about the quantity (huge amounts of text); it’s more about the relevance of the content to potential searches.
Create great content people want to read
It’s entirely possible that Google actually uses some sort of hidden sliding scale to determine its quality score. Relevance is a measure of how appropriate a given page is for a given query. In the early days of SEO, this ultimately boiled down to what keywords were used in a query, compared to what keywords were found on an indexed page. It appears that when attempting to improve search engine ranking for a web-site, a position in the top six of the search engine results page has never been more important. Even web pages that currently have a top search engine ranking cannot afford to be complacent. Much of the time, it makes sense for the search engines to deliver results from older sources that have stood the test of time. However, sometimes the response should be from newer sources of information Link building is still an important part of your company’s SEO strategy. Instead of trying to get as many links as possible, proper link building now focuses on relationship building and by providing valuable information.
Think of ways to stand out from the crowd
While building a better search engine optimization strategy, having a description tag that is efficient is a good way to bring searchers to your website. The content in this area shouldn’t exceed 30 words. Never exceed 100 kilobytes on this sort of page. Webpages on HTTPS had positivecorrelation with higher rankings. Sometimes, your blog simply doesn’t get the attention and the traffic you want it to get. If neither your ranking nor your SEO has changed, you probably just need to put in a little bit of effort While most of the links to your site will be gained gradually, as people discover your content through search or other ways and link to it, Google understands that you'd like to let others know about the hard work you've put into your content. Your competitors can be a goldmine of information that can inform every aspect of your marketing and rocket your website’s traffic.
