SEO Keywords

Content simply refers to the text on your homepage, your blog posts, videos you’ve produced, and any podcasts you’ve published. Focus on producing the best content you can – or pay someone to create it for you! Make it compelling, detailed, substantive, accurate and entertaining. Think of outreach as a brand awareness campaign for your most authoritative audience. If your page title is too long (currently 400 to 600 pixels), it will get cut off in Google. You don’t want potential visitors to be unable to read the full title in the SERPs. How does a new website start ranking? Does it just magically appear in Google after you’ve launched it? What things do you have to do to start ranking in Google and get traffic from the search engines? On page optimization is very essential to gain visibility in the search results as without optimizing your on page factors, you won’t be found in the Search Engines.

Make your keywords as specific as possible

Consumer behavior has rapidly matured with the growth of the online world. Customers access the internet through a variety of different platforms and channels. Two thirds of shoppers report using more than one channel when deciding to make a purchase. High-quality content on and off your website and using strategic link-building tactics (internal links and backlinks) is a critical component to achieving relevancy. This strategy protects the website’s viability against the frequent changes in Google’s rules and priorities. If your meta description is a duplicate, the user experience in Google will be less. Although page titles might vary, all pages seem the same as all descriptions are equal. Spend some time looking at other websites within your niche, sites that perhaps are not performing well enough to claim the top spots in Google, and ask yourself - what are they missing? Why are these sites not ranking in search engines? Search engine optimization is a strategy that is fairly easy to implement for most company websites - provided you have a current set of SEO ranking factors and efficiently implement changes.

Make Use Of Local Citations

Write about all those topics that are important to your audience. Use the words you came up with in your keyword research. You need to have content about the topics you want to rank for to start ranking in the search results. It’s a common misconception that the internet is the ultimate learning environment. Yes, you can find everything you need, for free, but the information you end up with is not always trustworthy. It’s scattered, often outdated and sometimes contradictory. Make sure to apply a suggested guideline of one to three keywords/phrases per content page and add more pages to complete the list. It’s important to have breadcrumbs on your website. They show users how a page fits into the structure of a site, and allow search engines to determine the site’s structure. Sitelinks can be a little bit of a double-edged sword: even if you can get Google to display them, they might not necessarily be the links you would have chosen to display.

Make sure your titles are concise and compelling

We asked an SEO Specialist, Gaz Hall, for his thoughts on the matter: "Make sure that your site’s structure and hierarchy are as clear and logical as possible, with your homepage as the “root” page (the starting point)." To keep search engines from ignoring your site, only use original content. Copying and pasting product descriptions from your merchant’s site may save you time, but it will also lower your site’s page ranking. To assure your page rank remains high, take the time to write your own content. If you don’t have time to write, hire a copywriter to create original content for you. Link Exchange is another good way for building links. However, you need to be careful with this one. I am not asking to go around ‘asking people for links’. Just move subtly with it. Sometimes called curation blogging, content curation means posting collections of useful links, videos, podcasts, infographics, and other resources on a specific theme, along with a little informed commentary. Whereas a page's title may be a few words or a phrase, a page's description meta tag might be a sentence or two or a short paragraph.

Minimize broken links

Google and other search engines also use the text of the URL of the page to determine the content of the web page. You should use your keyword or phrase in the URL of the web page - either the folder/directory structure or the HTML file/page name itself. It used to be that buying backlinks as you could was a successful means of boosting your organic search results. But today, it’s definitely not good to buy them in big packages. Google has declared that if you buy bulk backlinks to improve your rankings, you're breaching their guidelines. No follow links are defined as the links which will not pass any link juice. Here, the link is set as no follow, meaning that the Google bot will not crawl the link and will not pass any link juice. The link does not count as a ‘vote’ in the page’s favour. Also, it will not boost page rank. A nofollow link is created with the nofollow link HTML tag. SEO is alive and well, and its just as powerful as it ever was. Since the Penguin algorithm update in September 2016, Google has been watchful for anchor text keyword density. Leaning on exact anchor text too frequently appears suspicious to the search engine, which could result in worsened SEO rankings.

Start Blog Title With Keyword

Ideally page titles should include the search term for which the website has been optimized. On the internet, the de facto “language” of structured data is schema.org. Schema.org is a democratic library of internet things. Backlinks are commonly referred to as one of the top factors Google uses in deciding what sites to show in a search result.
