Upcoming Research & Studies
At Sensory Bridges, we are committed to developing evidence-based solutions that support the needs of neurodiverse children. As part of that mission, we are currently planning a series of research studies to explore how the Brooks Band can help children learn to self-regulate their voice volume through real-time feedback. The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Mocs Innovate! grant is helping to make that possible.
These future studies will be conducted in collaboration with educators, therapists, and child development researchers, and will be reviewed and approved by an Institutional Review Board (IRB) to ensure the highest ethical and safety standards.
As we prepare for these studies, we are actively seeking input from parents and caregivers, teachers, individuals in the Occupational/Speech/ABA Therapy industry, and neurodivergent individuals to better understand daily challenges related to voice volume regulation, and to learn what types of tools or support would be most helpful.
If you are a parent or caregiver of a neurodivergent child, teacher, Occupational/Speech/ABA Therapy associated individual, or a neurodivergent individual, we invite you to take our short survey. Your responses will help guide the development of the Brooks Band™ and shape future research.
Thank you for being part of the journey toward empowering children with greater independence, confidence, and communication support.
