BRIDGING SENSORY NEEDS WITH SOUND INNOVATIONS
The Brooks Band*
The Brooks Band* is a wearable wristband designed with funding from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga to help neurodivergent individuals and those with hearing impairments regulate their voice volume through real-time haptic feedback. It empowers users to gain independence in self-regulation without constant external reminders. Created by a mom who understands the real struggle, the Brooks Band provides a simple yet effective solution for children who struggle with volume control, giving parents, educators, and therapists a valuable tool to support communication and sensory needs.
