The relationship between style and meaning is the focus of the one-day online symposium Sensing Style: Subcultural Movements in the 21st century, organized by the Leiden University Centre for the Arts in Society (LUCAS) in collaboration with West, Den Haag. Speakers from diverse scholarly fields and cultural backgrounds will share their latest research projects and relevant findings on style and emerging subcultures within the globalized, virialized and mediatized popular culture of this century.

The symposium will take place on the 11^th December 2020 08:30-17:00 CET.
