Shubham is a 17-year-old junior at Paradise Valley High School. He has been playing competitive chess for the last 11 years along with basketball for the last 8 years and is extremely passionate about both. Furthermore, he is currently an intern at the ASU Biodesign Institute researching virology. Along with this, he volunteers at the Animal Benefits Club, an animal shelter near his home, and enjoys working with animals. Moreover, he is a math tutor at Mathnasium where he teaches a wide variety of kids math. He's also an avid programmer who enjoys app development and the field of computer science. He wants to use his experience with technology to have a positive community impact. He is interested in the fields of bioscience and computer science; he hopes to be in a career combining both of these aspects. Outside of school, he plays with his 110-pound dog Max, hangs out with his family, and likes watching YouTube videos.
Tanmay, a 17-year-old junior at Paradise Valley High School, discovered his passion for computer science in 5th grade and has been devoted to the field ever since. In 2023, he won 1st place in the SkillsUSA Arizona Computer Programming competition. Currently serving as the head of technology for AceForLove, a nonprofit organization providing free tennis education to children, Tanmay is dedicated to leveraging his computer science expertise to make a positive impact on the community. Beyond his technical achievements, Tanmay has enriched his community by tutoring children in math and English at Kumon and playing for his school's tennis team. He is really enthusiastic about SET’s mission to assist and teach senior citizens about technology and hopes to help SET achieve this mission through his technological experience.
