Our Story

My Father was diagnosed with Cancer in October 2019. So I began regularly cleaning his home when he was still alive. Doing the jobs he could no longer manage by himself.

Without extra support, his home would have become neglected and messy. It would have most certainly added to the stress he and my family were already under trying to deal with and cope with his diagnosis.

It was fortunate at the time I was in a position to take some of that burden from him,  Although my Father did have regular carers who provided his personal care.

Due to restrictions within their job description, they couldn't use ladders to clean his windows, take him shopping, or spend long periods with him for a chat to help with the loneliness and isolation he felt.

 Thankfully I was able to provide that extra support that allowed him to continue living as normal a life as possible whilst keeping his independence.

 I understand the pressures that are on families to support elderly relatives especially whilst also trying to run their households. Even the minimum of tasks can be challenging.

 The extra pair of hands I provide takes some of that pressure from people who use my services. 

 I want to continue to Empower people to live independently in their homes whilst continuing to enjoy a fulfilled life making the most of their later years.

 I have worked in care settings over the years and have varied experiences of working with seniors.
