PTA Leadership

Hi - my name is Anastasia DelCarpio and this is my first year on the PTA board. I have a 3rd grader at Semper and a kindergartner at Lukus in the ASD program. My husband Dan and I grew up in Colorado, and we still love living in such a beautiful place. I enjoy gardening, cooking/eating good food, and silly-dancing. I hope you'll join us in supporting Semper, in whatever capacity works for you. I look forward to serving and getting to know the Semper community better!

Hi - my name is Valerie Martinac and this is my first year on the PTA board.  I have a 1st grader at Semper. My husband Duane and I are both natives. I grew up in Wheat Ridge and he grew up in Westminster. We love Colorado and our neighborhood here in Westminster.  I enjoy reading, crocheting, bowling, attending concerts/sporting events and just being silly with my daughter.  I look forward to meeting you and having you as a part of the PTA. When I joined my first meeting, I wasn't ready to commit to a job larger than volunteering. I enjoyed getting to know everyone and helping when/where I could. I hope you will consider joining too.

Hi - my name is Laura Makelky and this is my first year on the PTA board. I’ve been part of our school community since my oldest child started preschool here. She’s now in middle school, but I still get to be part of this amazing place every day—this is my third year working as the school’s library paraprofessional, and it truly is the best job ever! I also have a second grader currently at the school, which keeps me connected both as a staff member and as a parent. I’m excited to serve as PTA Secretary and help support our students, families, and staff in every way I can.
