The cost of becoming a member of the Semper PTA is $10 per member for an Individual Membership, and $8 per member for a Family Membership. Your membership dues fund the PTA's activities and support its advocacy efforts for all children.
The Semper PTA does not keep most of your membership dues; rather $7.25 of your membership dues go toward supporting the State, County, and National PTAs, enabling them to provide resources, training and support structure to local PTAs and to advocate for policy changes in the best interest of all children, fighting for full funding, quality teachers, and capabilities for schools to thrive.
A breakdown of the $7.25 membership dues shared with other PTA organizations is as follows:
$3.25 goes to National PTA
$3.00 goes to Colorado PTA
$1.00 goes to the council or region where your PTA is located. (Jeffco Council in our case)
Semper PTA keeps the small amount above this $7.25 as part of our fundraising efforts.
