Student Algebraic Geometry and Foliations Seminar at IMPA

Aimed for students interested in Algebraic Geometry, Foliations and related themes

The goal of our seminar is to organize informal meetings between students at IMPA and other institutions who may be interested in algebraic geometry, foliations and related themes.

Because of the coronavirus outbreak, it has been quite hard to keep in touch, and so we think that through casual conversations and seminars we can have a good time, while at the same time getting to know the kind of mathematics each of us is working on.

If you are (or were) a student at IMPA or other institution and would like to participate, just send an email to seminario.ga.alunos@gmail.com .

The meetings are hybrid and take place every Friday at 3:30 pm
(Rio de Janeiro's time UTC-3) through Google Meet in the room 347 at IMPA.

But for those who are at IMPA, we will be able to meet in person and follow the presentations from people outside the institution at the same time by watching the shared screen in a data show.
