How We Use Your Information: Information is used solely for scheduling tutoring sessions, communicating with you, and tailoring instruction to meet student needs.
Data Protection: We will not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. All student records and communications are kept confidential.
Online Tutoring: Online sessions may use third-party platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or similar. While we strive to use secure platforms, we cannot guarantee the security of third-party software. Clients and students are responsible for maintaining their own secure internet connection and technology.
Parent/Guardian Responsibility: For students under 18, parents/guardians are responsible for providing accurate information, ensuring online safety, and supervising sessions as needed.
Changes to This Policy: We may update this Privacy Policy as needed. Updates will be posted on our website.
By enrolling in tutoring services, you agree to the following terms:
Session Scheduling: Sessions will occur on the agreed-upon day and time. Cancellations or rescheduling must follow the Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy as outlined in the tutoring contract.
Payment: Clients agree to pay the agreed rate per session. Late or missed payments are subject to a late fee and may result in suspension of tutoring services until the balance is paid in full. All payment policies, including late fees and timelines, are further detailed in the tutoring contract.
Responsibilities: The Tutor will provide instruction, resources, and guidance. The Student is expected to actively participate and complete assignments as agreed. The Tutor will not complete assignments, homework, tests, or quizzes on behalf of the student.
Online Tutoring Responsibilities:
Clients are responsible for ensuring students have access to a stable internet connection, working devices, and necessary login information.
Technical difficulties on the client’s end (such as poor internet, computer malfunctions, or missed logins) will not be refunded and may still count as a completed session.
If the Tutor experiences technical issues, the session will be rescheduled at no extra cost.
Intellectual Property: Lesson materials and resources provided by the Tutor are for personal use only and may not be shared, copied, or resold.
Termination of Services: Either party may terminate services as outlined in the tutoring contract. Outstanding balances remain due at the time of termination.
Limitation of Liability & Hold Harmless: The Tutor strives to provide a safe and supportive environment. However, the Tutor is not responsible for any injuries that may occur during in-person or online tutoring sessions. Clients agree to hold the Tutor harmless from any claims of injury, accidents, or related incidents.
Property Damage: If the Tutor’s property (including land, home, or supplies) is damaged during an in-person tutoring session, the Client agrees to be financially responsible for repair or replacement.
The tutoring services provided are intended to support and enhance the student’s academic skills. While every effort will be made to help the student improve, no specific results, grades, or exam outcomes are guaranteed.
Tutoring is not a substitute for classroom instruction, personal study, or professional educational evaluations. Parents/guardians should ensure that any special educational needs (such as IEPs or 504 plans) are disclosed prior to tutoring.
By using these services, you acknowledge and agree that:
Academic performance and outcomes remain the responsibility of the student.
The Tutor cannot be held liable for injuries, accidents, or property damage that occur during in-person or online tutoring sessions.
Clients are responsible for replacing or compensating the Tutor for any damages caused to the Tutor’s property during sessions.
The Tutor is not responsible for internet issues, platform malfunctions, or technology failures on the client’s side during online tutoring.
