1) What subjects can I help with? What test prep can I help with?
Check my Subjects/Grades page to see all the subjects I can tutor! I can help with PERT, Algebra 1 EOC, GED, ACT, and SAT math prep!
2) Where can we meet?
Great news, I can come to you or you can come to me! Check out my Pricing page as well as my 2026 Schedule to see where and when I tutor.
If your student needs help that is out of the listed areas that I service, I can work with you via Google Meet/Zoom meetings or figure out a different meeting spot. (Note: this might require a travel fee.)
Disclaimer: If you have inside cats, due to a severe allergy, we will need to make other arrangements for meeting places.
3) What happens during the first session?
I will complete a 1-hour evaluation (please see pricing, depending on needs of the session) to see what the student knows and what we will need to work on. From there, I will suggest how many times a week we could meet and for how long each session will last. Please keep in mind that my schedule stays very busy!
Also during the first session we will complete a contract for our future sessions if you would like to move forward.
4) What should my students have ready/bring to our sessions?
FLVS/Homeschool Students: For homeschooled students, I suggest having a notebook/binder to keep everything in. I also suggest if your program provides any type of guided notes or examples to please print those. Students should have paper/notebook, notes, and pens/pencils at our sessions.
Public School/College Students: Students should keep on hand any notes from class that they took. Students should bring paper/notebook, an online book or book from class, notes, and pens/pencils. If online work needs to be completed, please make sure your computer is charged.
Online Students: If we are meeting online please email any homework/worksheets ASAP before our scheduled session.
5) What happens if you need to cancel/reschedule?
Please feel free to reach out to me! I try to be as flexible as possible! But please take into account of my new cancelation policy.
Cancellation policy: There will be a cancellation fee if there is no confirmation before 24 hours of the scheduled session. The cancellation fee will be full price (and travel fee) for the scheduled session. An invoice will be sent for the cancellation fee. If there is already a next session scheduled, the cancellation fee will be due two days before that next scheduled session. If we do not have another scheduled session, the cancelation fee is due before the next session can be scheduled. In the event that a client needs to cancel due to a life/family emergency, weather, or illness, the cancellation fee will be waived.
6) Are you associated with the Step Up Scholarship?
Yes I am! I am associated with Step Up. I have been approved to be a provider through Step Up so you can pay me directly!
If you are reaching out to me through Erin Hammontree-Smallwood at Udderly Acres Learning Center, we will meet to fill out information and have things set in stone. You will pay directly to Mrs. Erin.
