This year's map was made by taking the online entry data into a spreadsheet, adding the paper entries and then importing them into a Google Map. It went fast and worked well, but lacks some of the features of previous maps. We continue to try to figure out how to do these maps easily and well.
To find out more about each stop, you need to go to the MAP and click on the marker.
2026 is the 21st annual River Road Ramble. Signups are $10 and can be done August 1 - 31. As we get the 2026 Ramble information ready, it will replace the 2025 info below. If you signup after August 31, you can still be on the Ramble, but if too late, we may not get you on the map or itinerary list.
2026 we are encouraging those who have garage sales to be open Thursday - Saturday as last year the sales open more days were better attended!
We also prefer you to put up your own signs - large and directing folks from Hwy 87 or the River Road to your stop. The bigger signs and the more you have out the better your stop will do!

Advice for Ramblers
The River Road Ramble is meant to be a calm, unhurried way to enjoy our corner of Wisconsin. Think of it as a chance to take in the fall colors, discover a good bite to eat, and maybe find a treasure to take home. A great Ramble isn’t about racing from one stop to the next—it’s about choosing a few places that catch your eye and lingering there. Slow down, explore, and savor the day.
