Reverend Dyson of the Cushing, Eureka and Wolf Creek churches preached the sermon for Virginia Connor. The couple were members of the Methodist church next to the Hillside Cemetery where they are buried. At the time, it was called the Harper Cemetery. Dyson kept a diary with this entry for the funeral.
