Hello, I’m Don Kim, an acupuncturist and Korean Hand Therapy (KHT) specialist.
I moved to New Zealand in 2000 with my family while working as Managing Director of an Oriental Medical School in Hamilton. In 2004, I established my own clinic in Timaru. Later, in 2011, I relocated to Queenstown for family reasons, where I have been living and working ever since—practising acupuncture and teaching KHT, primarily to practitioners.
As I gradually move toward retirement, my focus is shifting. I plan to reduce my clinical work as an acupuncturist and dedicate more time to supporting people—particularly those with serious conditions—using KHT and BioPhoton therapy.
My main goal is to share the benefits of KHT with as many people as possible. KHT is unique, highly effective, and accessible to everyone—not only practitioners. However, skilled teachers and practitioners are rare worldwide. Despite being easy to learn, KHT can deliver powerful results across a wide range of conditions. Many people, including myself, have even changed their careers to become KHT practitioners or teachers, while others use it to improve their own health or that of their loved ones.
I hope you will be one of them.
Before I retire, I look forward to sharing decades of my experience and expertise—so you can achieve better health and enjoy a higher quality of life.
Thank you.
With kindness,
Don
