Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SelfThrive mobile application ("App", "Service"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the App.

Restrictions

You may NOT:

- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

- Rent, lease, loan, sell, or distribute the App

- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App

- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App

- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality

User Content and Data

Your Data

You retain all rights to the data you create in the App:

- Habits you track

- Weekly plans you create

- Personal laws you define

- Feedback you submit

Data License

By using the App, you grant us a license to:

- Store and process your data to provide the Service

- Use anonymized, aggregated data for analytics and improvements

- Back up your data for security and recovery purposes

Data Accuracy

- You are responsible for the accuracy of your data

- We are not liable for any loss or corruption of data

- We recommend regular backups of important information

Purchase Terms

- All purchases are processed through Google Play Store

- Prices are subject to change with notice

- Purchases are non-transferable between accounts

- One-time purchases are lifetime access

Payment and Billing

- Payment is charged to your Google Play account

- All payments are processed by Google Play Store

- We do not store payment information

- Sales tax may apply based on your location

Refund Policy

- Refunds are managed through Google Play Store

- Subject to Google Play's refund policy (typically 48 hours)

- Contact Google Play Support for refund requests

Cancellation

For one-time purchases:

- No cancellation needed (lifetime access)

- You may delete your account at any time

Upgrade Prompts

- Free users may see prompts to upgrade to premium

- These prompts are non-intrusive and can be dismissed

- Limitations are enforced by the app and Firebase rules

Intellectual Property

App Ownership

SelfThrive and all its components are owned by Shakhawat Hossain:

- Source code and software

- Design, graphics, and user interface

- Logos, trademarks, and branding

- Documentation and content

Third-Party Content

The App uses:

- Google Material Icons (Apache License 2.0)

- Open-source Flutter packages (see Licenses section)

- Firebase services (Google LLC)

Trademarks

"SelfThrive" and associated logos are trademarks of Shakhawat Hossain. You may not use these trademarks without prior written permission.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

- Create multiple accounts to bypass limits

- Share your account credentials with others

- Impersonate others or provide false information

Technical Abuse

- Attempt to hack, exploit, or bypass security measures

- Use the App in a way that damages, disables, or impairs it

- Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code

- Overload our servers with excessive requests

Content Violations

- Submit offensive, abusive, or harassing feedback

- Use the App for illegal activities

- Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Data Security and Privacy

Your Responsibility

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

- Merchantability

- Fitness for a particular purpose

- Non-infringement

- Accuracy or completeness

- Uninterrupted or error-free operation

No Medical Advice

SelfThrive is a self-improvement and habit-tracking app:

- It does NOT provide medical, psychological, or professional advice

- It is NOT a substitute for professional consultation

- We are NOT responsible for decisions made based on app usage

- Consult qualified professionals for health concerns

Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for:

- Google Sign-In availability or issues

- Firebase service interruptions

- Google Play Store policies or changes

- Third-party app integrations

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

Liability Cap

Our total liability for any claims related to the App shall not exceed:

- The amount you paid for premium features in the last 12 months, OR

- $50 USD, whichever is greater

Excluded Damages

We shall NOT be liable for:

- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

- Loss of profits, revenue, or data

- Loss of business opportunity

- Personal injury or property damage

- Costs of substitute services

Exceptions

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for personal injury or incidental/consequential damages. In such cases, these limitations may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shakhawat Hossain, SelfThrive, and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

- Your use of the App

- Violation of these Terms

- Violation of any rights of another party

- Your User Content or data

Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

- Deleting your account in the App settings

- Contacting us at [Your Email]

- Uninstalling the App

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

- You violate these Terms

- You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity

- We discontinue the App (with 30 days notice)

- Required by law or legal process

Effects of Termination

Upon termination:

- Your license to use the App ends immediately

- We will delete your data within 30 days

- Premium features access is revoked (no refunds unless required by law)

- Some provisions survive termination (indemnification, disclaimers, etc.)

Changes to Terms

Modification Rights

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time:

- The "Last Updated" date will be revised

- Significant changes will trigger an in-app notification

Acceptance of Changes

By continuing to use the App after changes:

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign our rights to any affiliate or successor.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, wars, pandemics, etc.).

Export Compliance

You agree to comply with all export and import laws and restrictions. You may not use the App in countries subject to trade embargoes.

Feedback and Suggestions

Voluntary Submission

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit are:

- Voluntary and non-confidential

- Granted to us royalty-free

- May be used for improvements without compensation

No Obligation

We have no obligation to:

- Implement your suggestions

- Keep feedback confidential

- Compensate you for ideas used
