In the service provided under the name “SelfFocus” (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”), we hereby establish this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) regarding the handling of users’ personal information as follows.

It also includes data related to appearance and voiceprints that can identify a specific individual (personally identifiable information).
Article 2 (Methods of Collecting Personal Information)
When users utilize the Service, we may ask for personal information such as a name. We may also collect, from the Service’s partners (including information providers, advertisers, ad distributors, and so forth; hereinafter referred to as “Partners”), transaction records that include the user’s personal information and information related to payments made between the user and Partners.
Article 3 (Purposes of Collecting and Using Personal Information)
SelfFocus collects and uses personal information and data for the following purposes:
To provide, operate, and improve the functions of the Service
To respond to inquiries from users (including identity verification)
To send emails regarding new features, updates, campaigns, and other services offered by SelfFocus to users who are using the Service
To contact users as necessary for maintenance, important notifications, and other issues
To identify users who violate the Terms of Use or attempt to use the Service for wrongful or unlawful purposes, and to refuse their use
To allow users to view, modify, and delete their own registered information, and to view their usage status
To bill users for fees in paid services
To accomplish any purposes incidental to the above-listed purposes
Article 4 (Change of Purpose of Use)
SelfFocus may change the purpose of use of personal information only when it is reasonably recognized that the new purpose is related to the original purpose. In the event of any change in the purpose of use, SelfFocus will notify the user of or publicly announce the changed purpose through the prescribed methods, such as posting on this website.
Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
SelfFocus will not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the user, except in the following cases or where permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations:
When it is necessary for the protection of human life, body, or property, and obtaining the user’s consent is difficult.
When it is particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of the sound upbringing of children, and obtaining the user’s consent is difficult.
When it is necessary to cooperate with a government agency, local public body, or their entrusted entity in performing affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining the user’s consent may interfere with the execution of such affairs.
When SelfFocus has notified or publicly announced the following matters in advance, and SelfFocus has submitted a notification to the Personal Information Protection Commission:
Inclusion of provision of data to third parties in the purposes of use
Items of data to be provided to third parties
Means or methods of provision to third parties
Measures to suspend the provision of personal information to third parties at the request of the individual
Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the following cases do not constitute the provision of information to third parties:
When SelfFocus entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use
When personal information is provided due to business succession through a merger or otherwise
When personal information is jointly used with a specific party, and notification or public announcement is made in advance to the user regarding the joint use, items of personal information to be jointly used, the scope of joint users, the purpose of use by the joint users, and the name or title of the person responsible for managing the relevant personal information
Article 6 (Changes to this Privacy Policy)
Except as otherwise provided by law or by separate stipulations in this Policy, the content of this Policy may be changed without notice to the user. In the event of a significant change, SelfFocus will notify users again through the Service and obtain their consent.
