This is the Selaikic Historical Society, an adult-rated collaborative worldbuilding project based on the premise that there was a race of all-female humans with immensely large posteriors and stature that went extinct around the 18th century. Their history became forgotten until researchers began piecing together this lost race of humanity by the turn of the 21st century. This revelation led to the creation of the Selaikic Historical Society, whose job is to excavate, research, and educate about the Selaikic people.
Their findings have led to huge revelations in history, and their findings continue to draw fascination and ire from across the world.

To reach a high level of creativity and speculation when studying ancient or lost civilizations, what is canon is kept broad to allow room for specific theories and for subjects to be preserved and reinterpreted.
That isn't to say there is no canon; it just means you don't have to try to fit everything into a singular version of who the Selaiki were in history.
