Part of managing yourself is following through with your plans. This is called self-motivation or self-decipline. Watch the following video:
2. Reflection: What stood out to you from this video? Do you ever find it challenging to motivate yourself? How do you act when you feel unmotivated? What can you do to change that?
3. Activity: Think of something in your life that you need to do... but you feel very unmotivated to complete it. This could be a project or homework assignment. Maybe it's learning a new sport or new instrument. Once you have something in mind, look at the image below. Use the SMART goal framework to set a goal for yourself to complete.
