Mohammed Al Dushaishi (Dr. MAD) is an assistant professor of Petroleum Engineering at the School of Chemical Engineering at Oklahoma State University (OSU) in Stillwater, Oklahoma. His current position involves conducting scientific and applied research, including writing proposal grants, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, and providing services to the department and community.
06.2012–12.2015 Supervised by Dr. Nygaard, “Missouri University of Science & Technology”
Title: Numerical and field data analysis of drill stem vibration. Drill stem vibration was related to drilling performance through a nonlinear drill stem vibration model solved using the finite element formulation and verified with analytical solution and field data. A full drill stem vibration model was developed to enhance drilling operation and help predict the optimum operating parameters for a given drill stem configuration.
08.2010–05.2012 Supervised by Dr. Nygaard, “Missouri University of Science & Technology”
Title: Investigation of drillstring vibration reduction tools. Investigation of the effectiveness of newly developed vibration reduction tools used while drilling in minimizing vibration while drilling. Vibration data measurements were used to evaluate the capability of these tools using statistical methods.
