This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over your own data. We wrote this in plain language because you deserve to understand exactly how your information is handled.
SecureMe is a service of HustleWithChip, a business based in Arizona. When we say "SecureMe," "we," "us," or "our," we mean HustleWithChip operating as SecureMe.
If you have any questions after reading this, email us at admin@hustlewithchip.com. We are happy to help.
To provide our service, certain personal information is collected. Some of it is collected by us (SecureMe) and some is collected directly by our data removal partner, Optery. Here is exactly what is collected, by whom, and why:
What We Collect
Why We Need It
Your full name
To identify you as a subscriber and manage your account
Your email address
To communicate with you, send your breach scan results, and deliver service updates
When you click the setup link we send you after purchase, you enter your personal details directly into Optery's system - not ours. Optery collects this information to find and remove your listings from data broker websites:
What Optery Collects
Why They Need It
Your home address
To find and remove your personal listings from data broker websites
Your phone number
To find and remove your personal listings from data broker websites
Your date of birth
To accurately identify your records on data broker sites (many people share the same name)
Names of your relatives
Data brokers often list relatives alongside your profile - Optery needs this to confirm they are removing the correct listings
This information is governed by Optery's privacy policy at optery.com/privacy-policy. We do not store this detailed personal information on our systems - Optery does.
What We Collect
Why We Need It
Breach scan results
When you use our free breach scanner, we store the results so we can show you your exposure level and recommend the right protection
Email engagement data
We track whether you open our emails and which links you click so we can send you more relevant information and less of what you do not care about
Basic website analytics
We use cookies and similar tools to understand how people use our website so we can make it easier to navigate
We do not store your credit card number, bank account, or payment details. SamCart handles all payment processing (see Section 3 below).
We do not collect your Social Security number.
We do not collect health or medical information.
We do not sell your personal information. Period.
We use your personal information for the following purposes and no others:
To remove your data from broker sites. This is the core service you are paying for. Optery uses the information you provide directly to them to find and remove your listings from 200+ data broker websites.
To deliver your breach scan results. When you run a scan, we use your email to send you the results.
To communicate with you about your subscription. This includes order confirmations, removal progress reports, renewal notices, and customer support.
To send you marketing emails. We send educational content about privacy and security, product updates, and promotional offers. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time (see Section 6).
To improve our service. We look at how subscribers use our tools so we can make them better.
We will never use your personal information for a purpose that is not listed here without telling you first and getting your permission.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
To provide the Service, we use trusted third-party services for payment processing, email delivery, and data broker removal. These services receive only the information necessary to perform their function. Each has its own privacy policy and terms of service.
We may also disclose your information if required by law, such as in response to a court order, subpoena, or government investigation. If this happens, we will notify you unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.
Active subscribers: We keep your information for as long as your subscription is active, because we need it to continue removing your data from broker sites.
After you cancel: We keep your information for 90 days after cancellation in case you decide to resubscribe. After 90 days, we delete your personal information from our systems, except for basic records we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes (your name, email, transaction dates, and amounts paid).
Breach scan results (non-subscribers): If you used our free breach scanner but never subscribed, we keep your email address and scan results for 12 months, then delete them.
Email marketing data: If you unsubscribe from our email list, we remove you from all marketing emails within 10 business days. We keep a record of your email address on our suppression list so we do not accidentally email you again.
You have the right to ask us to delete your personal information. Here is how:
Email us at admin@hustlewithchip.com with the subject line "Delete My Data."
Tell us what you want deleted. You can ask us to delete everything, or just specific information.
We will confirm your identity. For your protection, we will verify that the request is really coming from you by confirming details associated with your account.
We will process your request within 30 days. In most cases, we complete deletions much faster.
We will confirm when it is done. You will receive an email confirming that your data has been deleted.
Please note: If you request deletion while you have an active subscription, we will need to cancel your subscription first since we cannot perform data broker removals without your information. We will explain this before proceeding.
We will also forward your deletion request to Optery, ActiveCampaign, and SamCart so they can delete your information from their systems as well.
Every marketing email we send has an "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom. Click it and you will be removed from marketing emails within 10 business days.
You can also email admin@hustlewithchip.com and ask to be removed from marketing emails.
Important: Even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails, you will still receive transactional emails related to your subscription (payment confirmations, removal progress reports, renewal notices, and account updates). These are not marketing - they are part of the service you are paying for.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

Right to Delete. You can ask us to delete your personal information (see Section 5 above).
Right to Correct. You can ask us to fix any personal information that is inaccurate.
Right to Opt Out of Sale. We do not sell your personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and give you a clear way to opt out.
Right to Non-Discrimination. We will not treat you differently or charge you more because you exercised any of these rights.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Information. We use sensitive personal information (such as your home address and date of birth) only to provide our data removal service. We do not use it for profiling or advertising.

Identifiers (name, email, address, phone number, date of birth)
Internet activity (email engagement data, website analytics)
Commercial information (subscription and purchase history)
We do NOT sell personal information. We have not sold personal information in the past 12 months.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Here is what that means in plain terms:
Essential cookies make the website work properly (keeping you logged in, processing forms). These cannot be turned off.
Analytics cookies help us understand how people use our site (which pages are popular, where people get confused). We use this to improve the experience.
Email tracking pixels are tiny invisible images in our emails that tell us whether you opened the email and what you clicked. This helps us send you more relevant content.
How to control cookies:
You can set your web browser to block cookies. Most browsers let you do this in Settings under Privacy or Security.
You can delete cookies that are already on your device through your browser settings.
If you block all cookies, some parts of our website may not work properly.
We do not use cookies to serve you ads on other websites. We do not use retargeting or behavioral advertising.
SecureMe is designed for adults. Our service is only available to people who are 18 years of age or older.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it immediately.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at admin@hustlewithchip.com and we will delete it.
We take the security of your personal information seriously. Here are the measures we have in place:
Encrypted connections. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption.
Secure partners. Our service partners (Optery, SamCart, ActiveCampaign) maintain their own security programs, including encryption, access controls, and regular security audits.
Limited access. Only authorized personnel who need your information to perform their job can access it.
Password protection. All accounts that access customer data are protected by strong passwords and, where available, two-factor authentication.
No system is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you ever suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at admin@hustlewithchip.com.
If we experience a data breach that affects your personal information, we will:
Notify you by email within 72 hours of discovering the breach (or as soon as reasonably possible).
Tell you exactly what happened - what information was affected, what we are doing about it, and what steps you should take to protect yourself.
Notify relevant authorities as required by law, including the Arizona Attorney General and the California Attorney General (for California residents) if applicable.
Provide free credit monitoring if the breach involves information that could lead to identity theft (such as your name combined with your address and date of birth).
Our website, emails, and community may contain links to other websites that we do not own or control (for example, links to news articles, privacy tools, or educational resources).
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites. When you click a link that takes you to another site, that site's privacy policy applies - not ours. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any website you visit.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do:
We will give you at least 30 days notice before any significant changes take effect.
We will notify you by email and by posting the updated policy on our website.
The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will change.
If a change affects how we use information we have already collected from you, we will ask for your consent before applying the change to your existing data.
If you do not agree with the updated policy, you can cancel your subscription and request deletion of your data (see Section 5).
