Personal Training, Run, Swim, Cycling and Triathlon Training in a 1:1 setting or group training
Founded in 2008 by Nancy Hastings, Second Wind Conditioning was built on a passion for endurance sports and a belief that fitness should feel empowering, not intimidating. With a background in competitive triathlon racing, Nancy experienced firsthand the discipline, resilience, and mental strength that training can develop. Those experiences inspired her to create a space where people of all fitness levels could discover their own “second wind.”
Second Wind Conditioning was designed to be more than just a gym — it’s a welcoming fitness community. Nancy combined her knowledge of endurance training with a supportive coaching style to help members build strength, confidence, and sustainable habits. Whether someone is training for a race or simply striving to feel healthier and stronger, the focus remains the same: personalized guidance, encouragement, and a positive environment.
Since its founding, Second Wind Conditioning has remained rooted in Nancy’s original vision — fostering community, celebrating progress, and helping individuals push past limits they once thought impossible.
The athletes who join Second Wind Conditioning come from all walks of life, united by a shared desire to grow stronger — physically and mentally. Some arrive with competitive goals, training for triathlons, road races, or endurance events. Others are just beginning their fitness journey, looking for guidance, structure, and a supportive community to help them build confidence.
What connects them isn’t experience level, but mindset. Second Wind athletes are committed, coachable, and willing to challenge themselves. They show up early for workouts, encourage each other through tough intervals, and celebrate milestones — whether it’s a first 5K finish, a new personal best, or simply feeling stronger than the day before.
The community reflects the welcoming culture Nancy envisioned when she founded Second Wind Conditioning. Experienced competitors train alongside beginners, creating an environment where everyone learns from one another. There’s no ego — just shared effort, accountability, and encouragement.
At Second Wind Conditioning, athletes don’t just train; they belong. They push past limits, discover resilience, and find their “second wind” — together.
