PhD in Linguistics from the University of Pittsburgh. My pedagogical experience and interest in prosody inform my research on the perception and production of speech, particularly as they pertain to L2 acquisition. I am also interested in Natural Language Processing.

My recent work addresses issues related to perception, the expression of focus and theticity, lexical stress, CALL and mechanisms to discern AI-generated language from human-generated texts.
