LAST CLEAN-UP:

Thanks to all of the amazing volunteers who helped out with Graham County Make a Difference Day and the E-Waste event!

April 22, 2017 - 7:30 am to 2:15 pm at the Safford Landfill, Graham County MADD e-Waste and Appliance Recycling Results:

48,260 lbs = 24 tons

That is more than 3 times what we had last year! (2016 - 14,000 lbs – 7 tons and approx. 180 vehicles.)

383 vehicles - 75 % of the vehicles that came through the line had e-waste to get rid of as well as landfill refuse. There were about 40 that were there only to dump e-waste and about 50 that were there only for the land fill. We had a total of 18 volunteers; Total of 383 vehicles ---- 183 Safford - 74 Thatcher - 34 Pima - 92 Graham County.
