SEA-Teacher Indonesia Experience: A Journey of Growth, Culture, and Connection
Project Overview:
This project documents my participation in the SEA-Teacher Program Batch 11, where I spent several weeks teaching and observing in Indonesia. It showcases my professional development as a future educator, my cultural immersion, and the meaningful relationships I built during my stay.
Project Components:
Classroom Observation: Understanding Indonesian teaching styles, student behavior, and school systems.
Guided Teaching: Collaborating with my mentor teacher to deliver lessons and adapt teaching strategies.
Final Demonstration Teaching: A culminating performance showcasing my skills, creativity, and growth.
Cultural Immersion Activities: Exploring heritage sites, local cuisine, and traditional crafts.
Personal Milestones: Celebrating my first airplane trip, my birthday abroad, and forming lasting friendships.
