Some more about professional artist, Julie Delfs:

Julie Delfs is a prolific artist that enjoys and is committed to sharing her passion with others. After several years of floating around multiple galleries her newest solo venture is open! Studio and gallery in one space located in historic downtown Fernandina Beach allows visitors to see her in action creating and view the gallery. Her coastal-inspired works of art are all one of a kind and crafted "in the moment". "Resin has a working time, therefore I must prep well and work fast, allowing myself to be moved by the moment, current feelings and carpe diem!"

Julie is best known for her use of resin-epoxy mixed with paint and other ingredients to create ocean-inspired artwork including her popular jellyfish series. Due to the tourist environment her work can now be found all over the US and abroad. In addition to paint concoctions, she also creates many other 2D and 3D works of art which include the use of recycled jewelry, shells, trinkets and other mixed media.

She continues teaching workshops for beginers and also offers private lessons to those wanting to get crazy and create large scale statement pieces with guidance. All her classes are fast paced and fun... a trully unique and one of a kind experience!

Julie's work can also be seen at Coastal Cottage home decor retail store in Fernandina Beach. She continues to teach her beginner classes in resin-epoxy pouring in Fernandina Beach. She is also a member of the art centers in Key West, Venice, and Sarasota Fl where she also teaches classes and displays art.

The Julie Delfs Gallery is located at 10 South 4th St. in downtown Fernandina Beach, Florida. The gallery is located across from Pelindaba Lavender and on the side of the Twisted Sisters retail store on Centre Street.

The Julie Delfs Gallery is open from 11-5PM Wednesday through Saturday and closed Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If you have an art emergency or need a private viewing contact me directly.
