Feb 23, 2026 Chinese/Lunar New Year

The Year of the Fire Horse

Thank you everyone for coming to our Chinese/Lunar New Year celebration. Thank you to Carrie, Lien, Fiona Y, Joan and Lex for decorating the auditorium.

We had a "Good Luck" Red Packet for everyone. The Lucky Door Prizes all have won Gold Medals at international wine shows.  We also had Special Treats for everyone, freshly made Mini Wraps with Chicken, Ham and Vegetarian.

Everyone had a wonderful time enjoying some of the best music selection from Yoppy, socializing with friends in between dancing brackets.

Jan 26, 2026 Australia Day Party Dance

Thank you everyone for coming in Australian Colours Green and Gold. Thank you to Lien, Carrie and Lex for decorating the Auditorium with Australian flags.

Everyone enjoyed the Lamington treats, a quintessential Australian dessert, often considered the national cake of Australia. It was named after Lord Lamington, who served as the Governor of Queensland from 1896 to 1901. 

Dec 15, 2025 Christmas Dinner Dance

A very big Thank You to everyone who attended our Christmas Dinner Dance. 

We had over 70 people at the dance. The foods were excellent, the music was wonderful, the dancing was just as wonderful and the atmosphere was electric.

Thank you to all our volunteers to make the evening a success. The decoration team includes Carrie, Lex, Fiona Yi, Lien, Chris, Elaine. In the brasserie, Joe, Saras, Carrie and Lex set up our tables so beautifully. Thank you Chris Teh for taking very nice group photos. Thank you all for helping.

A special Thank You to our Patron, Mr Arthur Cotsios for helping us celebrating the event, even though he has been to a Christmas Function every day of the previous week.

Thank you to Shuly and Daniel for entertaining us with beautiful songs. 

Thank you to Carrie and Lex for performing a winning Tango routine giving us a sneak peek at Competition Dancing.

Thanks to Carrie Pan for baking tasty Chocolate Pistachio snacks. Thanks also to Leeanne for the mandarins. We had four Lucky Door Prizes.

Jun 9, 2025 King's Birthday Party Dance

Thank you everyone for coming to our King's Birthday Party Dance on Monday 9th June 2025. We had many returning visitors from other clubs.

Everybody had a very enjoyable evening. The atmosphere was electrifying, the people were convivial and the tiramisu was irresistible.

Thanks to our Pastry Chef Carrie Pan for crafting two delicious and luscious Tiramisu large enough for 50 people (many had a second serving).

Thanks to Fiona Yi for decorating the hall so beautifully and serving the tiramisu.

Thanks to our DJ Yoppy Yap for the birthday presents for Salvatore, Leanne, Mauria and Virginia who all have birthday in June.

We also had prizes for lucky dancers in Progressive Barn Dances.
