Q-When can I check in?
A. Check in time is from 2-4 p.m. or as coordinated with the Housekeeper.
Q-How do I gain entry?
A. Housekeeper will greet you upon arrival to provide you with access. The key box is located at the front door.
Q- How man parking spaces are available?
A. There are TWO assigned parking spaces only.
Q- How far is the cottage from the beach?
A. It’s just a few houses away and across the street.
Q-How big is the cottage?
A. Appx. 1123 sq. ft. It is 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, living room and dining room.
Q-Is there a TV? Cable?
A. Yes, there is a smart TV with basic cable, and you can access your own Amazon, Netflix, HULU accounts, etc. Do not unplug the modem or the Wi-Fi booster near the front door.
Q-Is there WIFI?
A. Yes. The password is in the Guest Book, on site. It can also be found on the back of the TP-Link modem near the TV.
Q-Is there telephone service?
A. No, please bring your cell phone.
Q-Is there a dishwasher?
A. No, there is not.
Q-Is there a washer and dryer?
A. Yes, FOR PAYING GUESTS USE ONLY. Excessive use will be charged to the guest.
Q-Are there small appliances available for use?
A. Yes. There is a toaster, mixer, coffee maker, smoothie/juicer/blender, wine opener, crockpot, waffle maker, iron, hair dryer, vacuum, hand vacuum, mini grill, etc.
Q-Is there a BBQ?
A. Yes, there is a propane BBQ for your use, please refill the propane if you deplete it OR at least, let us know so we can fill it for our next guest. Grill cleanup is not included in the cleaning fee (If the grill is left dirty, the housekeepers will clean the grill and there may be a sur-charge for the service).
Q-Is there daily housekeeping service.
A. No, sorry. We can try to arrange this for you, provided you give advance notice. No promises. An extra charge will be required.
Q-Where are the bedrooms located.
A. All bedrooms and bathrooms are located upstairs.
Q-What if the weather is not what I anticipate when I arrive.
A. Sorry no refunds due to weather.
Q-What if there is a power outage, cable, Wi-Fi outage, plumbing issue etc.? Can I get a refund?
A. No. There are no refunds for unexpected outages that limit your use of amenities.
Q-Do I have to clean and wash all linens before I leave?
A. No. The cleaning fee includes laundry service, you may leave the beds unmade or strip the linens as they will be washed regardless. There are two sets of linens per bed, the extra linens are stored and labeled master closet storage bin.
Q-Is there a cleaning check list that I can reference prior to departure?
A. The cleaning and laundry will be completed by Joan, the attendant/housekeeper, however, the guest is expected to rinse down all beach equipment before storing, clean the BBQ if used, and put furnishings and contents back in place.
Q- What if I prefer to leave the property “as is” when I leave?
A. Your account will be charged by housekeeping for the items listed above that are the guests’ responsibility.
Q-What if I complete partial cleaning but do not have time to complete the check list?
A. Your account will be charged in an amount equal to the cleaning fee including rush/travel fees.
Q-What if I damage or lose something?
A. Your account will be charged in an amount equivalent to replacement.
Q-Can I buy insurance to cover any damage?
A. Yes. Renters insurance can be purchased to cover any damages that are incurred during your stay. Google “Vacation Rental Insurance” for a provider.
Q- May I use the items in the storage shed?
A. Absolutely. We have provided beach chairs, foldable wagon, pop-up beach tent, lawn games, etc. for your use and enjoyment.
Q-Are there basic pantry supplies?
A. Yes. Flour, sugar, spices, (ask for the inventory list)
Q-What if I deplete a pantry staple or product? (i.e. flour, sugar, cleaning or paper products?
A. If you deplete an item, as a courtesy we would appreciate it if you replace it or at least notify us so we can make sure the property is stocked for the next guest.
