In order to best serve the fishermen and run clinic efficiently, new student volunteers are required to complete a mandatory 80-hour probationary period: 20 hours in Pharmacy, 20 hours in Vitals, and 40 hours in Scribe.
After completing the probationary period for each role, new volunteers will take an assessment before moving forward.
Our interpreters are invaluable members of our team and are essential in communicating with our patients.
If you (or your group) speak Indonesian, Vietnamese, or Filipino and are interested in working with SMC, please reach out via email.
We would greatly appreciate your help!
