Coach Katherine joins the SDSU Mock Trial program with more than 25 years of courtroom experience and a deep commitment to training future advocates. 

A graduate of UC San Diego and the McGeorge School of Law, Katherine built a distinguished career in criminal law, serving as a criminal defense attorney, criminal prosecutor with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office and a magistrate judge in Dallas, Texas for 25 years, gaining extensive experience in legal procedure, advocacy, and judicial decision-making.

Drawing on decades of trial work and legal insight, Coach Katherine is dedicated to helping SDSU students develop the confidence, skill, and strategic thinking that define exceptional trial advocates.
