School Library Technology Coordinator, South Dakota State Library

A bit about me... I've been in education for 18 years as high school English teacher, alternative education facilitator, teacher-librarian, and technology coach. I now serve as the School Library Technology Coordinator for the SD State Library, a division of the SD Dept. of Education. For me, my job is more than a job; it's a career. I'm proud be a voice for school librarians and to help libraries thrive in a rapidly changing world. I support educators by providing professional development, resources for teaching and learning, and opportunities for collaboration and growth.

I live in Spearfish where I work remotely for the State Library in Pierre. My husband and I have two daughters - a super social middle schooler and a quiet, artistic elementary kiddo. We're in the process of an exciting family affair >>> building a little dream home on quiet two acres in the Black Hills. Pinch me!
