9/3/23: CCA Raven Invite (recap)

• Omar Reyes (El Camino (Oceanside) HS // Sr.) clocked a 14:42.6 to be the fastest male runner from the San Diego Section at the meet. Reyes placed runner-up and secured a comfortable 7 second gap over the next closest SDS runner.

• Chiara Dailey (La Jolla HS // So.) torched the meet record by running away with the win in 15:54.2 on Saturday. Dailey was the fastest San Diego Section female runner of the day, and her time currently puts her at #1 for 3 miles on the national ranking.

• Canyon Crest Academy HS had the best male team from the San Diego Section as the Ravens put their boys in 3rd place after the merged results. The boys from CCA averaged a total of 15:32.22 on the 3 mile course.

• Cathedral Catholic HS puts together a great performance to kick off September with a win. In the merged results the lady Dons placed 1st, averaging a time of 18:11.18 over the 3 mile course.
