History

Created in 2017, SD Prep Track is the result of a San Diego Section student-athlete having their senior year eligibility denied. SDPT was created to maintain the San Diego running community united, informed, and engaged in this beloved sport during and after high school. With the help of platforms such as Instagram and YouTube, SD Prep Track has grown from an idea, to San Diego's most visited page for high school running. We look forward to continue serving you for the years to come.

SD Prep Track is an organization ran completely by San Diego Section alumni and student-athletes. Each staff member donates their time to SDPT in order to help produce the best quality content for our followers.

Since our reboot in the Fall of 2020, we have seen a growth in user engagement and growth in recognition for the organization. Due to our continuous growth, SD Prep Track has been awarded the opportunity to expand past San Diego, and has covered meets in Orange County, San Bernardino County, Riverside County, and Los Angeles County. We would like to take a moment to thank our supporters and followers for being with us every step of the way since our creation in 2017. SD Prep Track is not just made up of the staff, we are made up of the San Diego running community.
