The School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) of the Schools Division of Marinduque
A functional division of the Schools Division Office, the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) supports and capacitates schools and learning centers in ensuring a conducive learning environment and in compliance with quality standards of governance and operations. Furthermore, the SGOD provides strategic direction and technical inputs to the management of the schools division towards efficient and effective governance and operation of the schools in collaboration with the Curriculum and Implementation Division (CID).
The SGOD has five (5) key result areas, namely:
support services and management;
planning and research;
community-level linkages and partnerships
human resource development; and
quality assurance.
These key result areas are supplemental in achieving three (3) main target outcomes:
schools and learning centers (LCs) effectively and efficiently deliver education services;
teaching and non-teaching personnel at the SDO are competent in performing their respective duties and functions; and
schools and learning centers maintain a conducive learning environment.
