The SDG Research Group at the Centre for Applied Nanosciences, Manipal Institute of Applied Physics focuses on solving scientific and technological challenges aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We focus on photonics-enabled engineering of functional interfaces for manipulation, manufacturing and translational sensing. Our research integrates nanoscience, photonics, soft matter physics, microfluidics, surface engineering, and bioinspired materials to create scalable, sustainable solutions for health, the environment, and advanced manufacturing.
