What will it take to protect all residents of South Dakota from the devastation an uncontrolled and unwanted fire can bring?

We aim to find out.

The Fire and Life Safety Committee works together to find the most effective, most efficient, and least expensive ways to protect everyone from fire.  We focus on Education, Engineering, Enforcement, and Economic Incentive as we work with our Emergency Response family. 

We investigate fires, inspect properties, and educate citizens to prevent fires or prevent injury and loss due to fire. Together, we will protect the residents of South Dakota.

We are a chapter of the International Fire Marshals Association (IFMA Chapter 33) and a committee of the South Dakota Fire Chiefs Association. 

No fees.

Little travel.
