SD65 Convention

The SD65 DFL Convention will take place on Sunday, March 29, 2026 

Location: Humboldt High School (30 Baker St E, St Paul, MN 55107)

Delegate registration starts at 10:00 AM

Call to order at 11:00 AM

Who Can Participate

Only individuals elected as delegates at the February 3 precinct caucuses are eligible to vote and participate in SD65 DFL party business and endorsements. Alternates may be upgraded to delegate status if a delegate from their precinct does not attend. Credentialing staff will handle upgrades on-site.

If you were elected as a delegate or become an upgraded alternate on convention day you are eligible to:

• Participate in SD65 DFL party business
• Vote on DFL endorsements for our open legislative seats

SD65 Convention vs. Ramsey County District 5 Convention 

The SD65 DFL Convention is responsible for endorsing candidates for State Senate District 65 and State House Districts 65A and 65B. Separately, the Ramsey County DFL District 5 Convention will conduct the endorsement for the open Ramsey County Commissioner District 5 seat.

Delegates elected on caucus night from certain SD65 precincts are also eligible to participate and vote in the Ramsey County DFL District 5 Convention. Those eligible precincts are:

• W2-P1

• W2-P3

• W2-P7

• W2-P8

• W2-P9

• W2-P10

• W2-P11

• W2-P12
