Lead Pathway
Leadership development for new and returning officers and emerging leaders, with modules on planning, team management, culture-building, and advanced leadership practices*.
Skills for candidates and electoral leaders covering field strategy, VAN, communications, compliance, and campaign readiness.
If you choose the Pathways, you must start with Essentials.
Essentials gives everyone a shared understanding of how the party works, so we are building from the same playbook across Minnesota.
The MN DFL offers expanded TRAINING, both live and on-demand -- and adds clear learning pathways for everyone, from first-time DFLers to experienced leaders and candidates.
This is more than an update. It’s a stronger training system built for the moment we’re in and the victories ahead.
Four Pathways. One Goal: Winning Together
The pathways help you build skills step by step, but you do not have to complete a full pathway. You can take most training courses at any time based on your interests. When you complete a pathway, you’ll earn a certificate that shows your skills and preparation for leadership roles. *If you choose to follow the Learn, Lead, or Win pathways, you must start with Essentials. Essentials gives everyone a shared understanding of how the party works, so we are building from the same playbook across Minnesota.
More training, tools, and opportunities will be added to the learning system throughout the year. Minnesota wins when DFLers are equipped, confident, and connected.
Thank you for everything you do to build our party across the state.
Let’s skill up, step up, and win — together.
