Support local DFL candidates
Electing Democrats to represent us is a priority for Senate District 29 DFL, your local unit of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party. Volunteers are focusing fundraising efforts on raising funds to contribute to local candidates. The goal is to raise a total of $7,000 for our (1) State Senate, (2) State House, and (1) Congressional Candidates. If we raise more, we will have extra dollars for our local Candidates.
A $75 political contribution to Senate District 29 is a refundable contribution through the Minnesota Political Contribution Refund (PCR) Program. You can make a $75 donation (or $150 for couples) and receive a FULL REFUND from the State of Minnesota! – give $75, get $75! This Minnesota program is designed to encourage small, individual donations to Minnesota party units and candidates.
Volunteers from our Local Party will be at the 2026 Senate District 29 Convention on March 14 and can give you the paperwork you will need to claim your refund after you contribute to your Local DFL. If you would like to complete the Refund Application before the Convention, you will find a fillable form at: https://www.revenue.state.mn.us/sites/default/files/2025-12/pcr-26.pdf
Questions before the Convention, contact Ann Bajari, Senate District 29 Treasurer, at
(320) 267-9478 or annbajari@gmail.com.
ACTION: Pam Bondi introduced a rule that the US atty general can override state bar investigations into misconduct by government attorneys (Todd Blanche, Ed Martin, Emil Bove, etc.).
It would effectively make Justice Department lawyers immune from any consequences if they violate their ethical duties in furtherance of the MAGA agenda. It also essentially invites rule-breaking by DOJ lawyers to please the president. There is something you can do to let your voice be heard in opposition to this rule: Please take 5 minutes today to go to this website and submit a comment.

Here is text you can use, model, or adapt in the comment field:
I am a concerned citizen who cares deeply about preserving the rule of law and upholding the integrity of our justice system. I strongly oppose this proposed rule because it will diminish accountability for misconduct by government lawyers. I believe that attorneys representing the United States should be held to the highest standards of ethics and professionalism. They must be subject to oversight by independent authorities like state bar associations. The Justice Department cannot be trusted to police itself. This proposed rule would allow the Attorney General to interfere with independent state bar investigations into allegations of misconduct. That will greatly harm the integrity of our justice system and allow misconduct to go unpunished.
