Testing Windows

Once you have administered your classroom-level Star assessments, begin your process of analyzing your data. The purpose of testing window #2: For all students: obtain benchmark data, determine the impact of fall instruction, identify students in need of intervention. For students receiving intervention: monitor progress and determine if supports should continue, modify, or end. See school and classroom data analysis template.

Renaissance has shared a few new accessibility features and accommodations that will be available for the winter testing window for students with documented needs. Please see the Guiding Resource and the Accessibility and Accommodations video. Discuss any accommodations with school leadership prior to the testing window. NCEA IFG: ACRE

Testing Window: February 19-23, 2024

ACRE is designed to assist in the evaluation of catechetical/religious education programs in Catholic schools and parishes. As a multilevel, age appropriate tool, NCEA ACRE is used in grade 5 (Level 1); grades 8 or 9 (Level 2); and grades 11 or 12 (Level 3). Currently, SD Catholic schools are required to administer ACRE and analyze their data every year.
