On 10/12/22, we had our FIRST in person meeting since COVID 19. Thank you to our speaker, Luis Martinez, from Rutgers University Behavioral Health for speaking to us regarding mental health and how we can support our students post COVID!
Thank you to Colleen Connor, 2010 scholarship recipient, for attending our meeting and speaking about your nursing experience!
CPR class
Members met in person to be re-trained in BLS (basic life support) in March. School nurses renew their CPR certifications every 2 years to keep up to date with any changes in recommendations and to keep skills sharp. If any SCSNA member needs to recertify their CPR cert, please reach out to the executive board. Classes are held yearly.
