Somerset County school nurses shared educational break-out sessions with friends and colleagues March 15-16, 2024 at the Heldrich Hotel And Convention Center in New Brunswick, NJ.

CPR class

Members met in person to be re-trained in BLS (basic life support) in March. School nurses renew their CPR certifications every 2 years to keep up to date with any changes in recommendations and to keep skills sharp. If any SCSNA member needs to recertify their CPR cert, please reach out to the executive board. Classes are held yearly.

SCSNA Nurses enjoyed an informative presentation on "Contagious Rashes in Schools" from the NJ Dept. of Health at the General Membership meeting February 22, 2024.
