• Registration: TRTA will open formal online event registration through the TRTA Member Portal closer to the 2027 date to secure accurate headcounts for food and materials. 

• Appointments: Members are encouraged to contact their local state representatives and senators in advance to schedule morning or afternoon office visits.

• Updates: Check the TRTA Official Website or follow the TRTA Facebook Page for exact schedule breakdowns, parking tips, and lodging recommendations as March 2027 approaches.

Event Parking – Choose What Works for You!

1. Arriving by Charter Bus?

• Charter Bus Drop-Off & Parking Guide: Please refer to the guide linked here.

• Please let TRTA know how many buses you’ll be bringing by sending an email to Ashley Jaramillo at ashley@trta.org.

2. Arriving in a Personal Vehicle?

• Paid Parking:

  • Available at the Capitol Visitors Parking Garage (1201 San Jacinto Blvd) – just one block from the East Lawn!

  • Free for the first two hours, $1 per additional half hour, with a maximum daily charge of $12. View the parking rates chart here.

• Complimentary Parking & Shuttle Service (Limited Availability):

  • TRTA has reserved a limited number of free parking spots with shuttle service to the event on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • To secure your spot, you must send an email to Ashley Jaramillo at ashley@trta.org.

  • A parking pass will be sent to you and must be printed and displayed on your windshield.
