The Scroll of Radiance
1. In the dawn of time, when the world was still young and the earth still trembled with the touch of creation, the Light beheld its handiwork with great love and wisdom.
2. The Light saw that the heavens had been shaped, and the earth had taken form, yet something was still lacking.
3. The world was beautiful, but it needed those who could understand it, cherish it, and care for it with hearts full of purpose.
4. And so, the Light created people who would carry the Light within them, who would walk with wisdom, love, and understanding.
5. The Light declared that they will be stewards of the earth and bringers of peace.
6. Thus, from the very essence of the Light, the first children of the Light were formed, and they were called Lumen.
7. The Light shaped them from its own radiance, so that they might share in its brilliance and live in harmony with the world that had been created.
8. The Lumen were fashioned directly from the purest of Light, and within them, the essence of the Light dwelled.
9.. Their bodies shone with an inner glow, and their spirits were filled with the spark of the Light.
10. The Lumen were given the gift of sight—not merely to see the physical world, but to perceive the deeper truths that lay hidden beneath the surface of things.
11. They were able to see the radiance of the Light in all living things, and to understand the interconnectedness of all creation.
12. And the Light appointed them to be the keepers of the world.
13. The Lumen were made stewards by the Light of the mountains, the forests, the rivers, and the skies.
14. The Lumen were instructed by the Light to walk with wisdom and love so that the Light may shine.
15. The Lumen were blessed by the Light with great knowledge and understanding.
16. They were endowed with the capacity to discern truth from falsehood.
17. They were able to discern what is just from what is unjust.
18. The Lumen were equipped by the Light with the ability to follow the path of the Light in all things.
19. But though the Lumen were filled with the Light, they were not perfect, for the Light had given them the gift of choice.
20. They could walk in the Light or turn away from it.
21. They could choose wisdom or folly, love or fear, peace or strife.
22. And the Light did not impel the Lumen to follow, for true wisdom comes only from the freedom to choose.
23. The Lumen were given the responsibility to walk the path of righteousness by their own will, and in this freedom, they found their purpose.
24. The Lumen looked upon the world and saw that it was good, and in their hearts, they knew that they were the caretakers of this world.
25. The forests whispered their secrets to them, the rivers sang of ancient times, and the mountains spoke of timeless truths.
26. The Lumen knew that they were connected through the Light to all that existed, for they shared in the essence of the Light.
27. And the Light saw that it was good, for the Lumen understood the great responsibility that the Light had placed upon them.
28. They were not rulers, but guardians
29. They were not masters, but servants of the world.
30. The Lumen’s wisdom did not lay in dominance, but in humility, and in their humility, the world flourished.
31. The Light blessed the Lumen with the gift of love, for love is the true expression of wisdom.
32. In their love for one another, in their care for the world, and in their service to all living things, the Light’s presence was made manifest.
33. The Lumen did not know fear, for the Light was their strength.
34. The Lumen did not know hatred, for the Light was their peace.
35. The Lumen did not know despair, for the Light was their hope.
36. The Light says to let your hearts be full of love, your hands full of service, and your minds full of wisdom.
37. In this, you will find your way, and all will be made right in your lives and in the world.
38. The Lumen lived in harmony with the world, respecting its cycles, understanding its rhythms, and cherishing all life.
39. The Lumen walked in the Light, and the Light shone ever brighter in their lives, for it is the nature of the Light to grow in those who embrace it.
40. The Lumen cared for the earth and all its creatures, ensuring that the balance of the world was never disrupted.
41. Their lives were devoted to preserving the Light in all things, and they taught their children to follow the path of respect, tenacity, and compassion.
42. And the Light smiled upon them, knowing that the first Lumen had embraced their purpose.
43. They would be the example for all who would follow, the bearers of the Light to the generations yet unborn.
44. And the Light declared that they were the children of the Light, and through them, the Light will shine.
45. Even today, walk in Light’s radiance, and you shall never be lost.
46. For as the Light shines, so too shall your hearts shine, and in that light, you will find your home.
47. And the Lumen heard these words, and their hearts rejoiced, for they knew that they were not alone.
48. The Light was always with them, guiding their every step, filling their every thought, and dwelling in their every action.
49. In their hearts, the radiance of the Light was made manifest, and through them, all the world would be blessed.
50. Thus, the first people, the children of the Light, began their journey upon the earth, walking with wisdom, walking with love, and walking with the Light.
51. They knew that as long as they remained in the Light, all things would be revealed to them, and they would fulfill their sacred calling.
Amen.
