Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
While I'd love to pay for all of the contributions that are featured in Scrittorio, it's simply not financially possible for me at the moment. Given that Scrittorio is brand new, has zero pennies to its name, and doesn't make any money at all, there's also no way for me to fund that from the magazine itself. I am hoping to include advertising space in the future that may help generate enough revenue for the magazine for it to pay its contributors, but that will have to wait until the magazine is more established and has a wider readership.
Scrittorio issues remain up for readers to read for as long as Scrittorio is running, but I won't stop you from doing what you want with your contribution! If you wake up the day after the issue is published and decide you want your contribution removed from the issue for whatever reason - no worries, I can do that! Just let me know and I'll fulfill your request as soon as I possibly can.
Essentially, Scrittorio seeks your permission to electronically publish the chosen work in the respective issue of Scrittorio, and to keep it up for as long as you feel is comfortable. That issue will remain up for readers to access whenever they wish, for an indefinite amount of time, but that doesn't mean that your contribution needs to stay up forever.
This is an important Q, because sometimes writers want to re-submit their work to other magazines or publications, and may require the article, image, or story to be taken down from Scrittorio for that to happen. Fair enough - just let me know by sending me an email.
I may revisit this FAQ to clarify/update information.
