As far as fretwork is concerned the Handicrafts company were involved in the hobby for a lot less time than rival company Hobbies. As you can read on the Handicraft History page you will see that Handicrafts was not established until 1907 and their involvement in the fretwork hobby practically ceased after the early 1930s. Handicrafts issued catalogues every year and they did have a lot more content & pages than the Hobbies versions.
Handicrafts annuals are rare apart from those published between 1931 to 1938 very few before those dates are ever offered for sale. As I mention on the History page Handicrafts did some wonderful ornate fretwork designs (even more elaborate than those published by Hobbies) possibly because the designer for Handicrafts had previously worked for Hobbies.
