Expectations of You

As an Event Team (ET) member, your primary role is to provide the server with engaging problems or scenarios for players to solve. Remember not to command people or force roleplay onto players. You are expected to host one event per week. 

Note that the Event Team is different from the Staff Team. Do not assume Staff roles unless authorized by Advisor+. If you are an ET and Staff, this rule does not apply to you. If you do join the staff and are a current ET, Trial Moderators cannot do events as they lose their ET rank until they pass their T-mod phase. 

Consider event suggestions from the forums and discord. Reading these suggestions and implementing good ideas is crucial.

Ensure you're both claiming event spots and maintaining clear communication with fellow Event Team Members. Remember to ping about the event announcement in the SCP-RP Discord at least 30 minutes before the event starts. Claiming your event spot well in advance is encouraged for smoother event coordination. However, it is required that you claim at least 30 minutes before the start of your event.

For events involving mass roleplay or complex scenarios, reach out to command from relevant battalions to ensure coordination and understanding. Focus on leading rather than dictating the roleplay.
