These instructions are the result of extensive research and experimentation, during which many lives were tragically lost. The sacrifices made in the pursuit of this knowledge underscore the importance of following these protocols carefully to ensure your safety.
SCP-173
SCP-173
Any instance of SCP-173 caught breaching containment should trigger an immediate sector lockdown. SCP-173 instances will attempt to hide from plain sight and ambush personnel. Notably, SCP-173 has the ability to duplicate itself instantaneously. To effectively immobilize SCP-173, it requires at least three personnel maintaining direct eye contact with it. Once immobilized, the personnel should periodically alternate their gazes to guide SCP-173 back to its containment room without losing visual contact. This coordinated effort is crucial for recontaining it.
SCP-096
SCP-096
Once an SCP-096 breach is declared, all personnel must be immediately evacuated from the sector where SCP-096 is located. To facilitate the recontainment of SCP-096, a sacrifice is required. This individual must be transported to SCP-096's containment cell and instructed to enter the cell, viewing a poster of SCP-096's image. Upon seeing its image, SCP-096 will become enraged and seek out the individual who viewed the image, thereby returning to its containment cell. This procedure is essential to ensure SCP-096 is successfully recontained and to minimize the risk to other personnel.
SCP-049

SCP-049 breaches present two distinct threats:
SCP-049: When on a rampage, SCP-049 will attempt to "cure" every personnel it believes to be infected with the Pestilence. SCP-049 usually returns to its docile state once it has "cured" a sufficient number of personnel or has exhausted itself.
SCP-049-2: These are the reanimated corpses of those whom SCP-049 has "cured." These husks are fast and much more resistant than a regular human. Terminating SCP-049-2 instances in close proximity to SCP-049 should be avoided, as doing so will trigger another rampage by SCP-049.
To manage these threats effectively, personnel must employ careful strategies to contain SCP-049 and neutralize SCP-049-2 without provoking further aggression from SCP-049.
SCP-003-3
SCP-003-3
Breaches involving SCP-003-3 are relatively manageable due to the entity's slow and bulky nature. To recontain SCP-003-3, personnel should use a baiting strategy. This involves luring SCP-003-3 back to its containment cell using bait, guiding it inside, and then securely locking the cell once the entity is inside.
SCP-009 & 008 Outbreaks
SCP-009 & 008 Outbreaks
Due to the highly infectious nature of these outbreaks, combatives are instructed to halt any personnel within the designated ground zero. Non-compliance will result in immediate termination. These outbreaks are extremely serious; if the majority of site staff become infected, the on-site nuclear warhead will be detonated to prevent further spread and ensure containment.
SCP-939
SCP-939
MTF units are the only combatives authorized to recontain SCP-939 due to their advanced arsenal and specialized equipment, particularly the "Distraction Module." This throwable device emits high-frequency soundwaves that attract SCP-939, causing them to ignore nearly all other sounds except gunfire. Containment involves MTF units taking turns using the Distraction Module to guide SCP-939 back to its containment cell. This methodical approach ensures the safe and effective recontainment of SCP-939.
SCP-106
SCP-106
Due to the extreme danger posed by SCP-106 breaches, only MTF units are authorized to respond. SCP-106 targets lone personnel and those creating the most noise. When not submerged, SCP-106 is partially blind and may inspect personnel, mistaking them for inanimate objects.
To recontain SCP-106, follow these steps:
Grab a sacrifice, typically a Class-D personnel, and attach them to the Femur Breaker.
Initiate the Femur Breaker to attract SCP-106.
Await SCP-106's arrival and its subsequent killing of the subject.
Turn on the floodlights and shut the entrance door to the containment chamber.
Activate the magnets to contain SCP-106.
Shut off the floodlights to complete the containment procedure.
