SCP Safe Object Class
SCP Safe Object Class
The "Safe" classification is assigned to objects or entities that are stored securely and efficiently. "Safe" may require certain deterrence measures, but this does not mean that dangerous situations are expected. Otherwise (or as more information about the object becomes available) the classification may be revised.
Some "Safe" are humans, humanoids, or other sentient beings. To prevent possible injuries and/or deaths of SCP Foundation personnel, interaction with them should be courteous and professional. Procedures for their content should also be taken into account.
Some "Safe" objects are allowed to be contacted by any employee of the Fund, and in some cases, regardless of the level of admission, while others are subject to various restrictions. "Safe" - the only objects with which employees with an O5 access level have the right to contact, but only if all precautions are observed.
It should be noted that the classification "Safe" does not mean that content procedures are not needed. Many of these facilities can be quite dangerous under certain conditions. An important feature of "Safe" objects is that they can not be feared with appropriate maintenance procedures. For example, the classification "Safe" could be assigned to a pistol, nuclear weapons or polonium.
Box Rule: If you put an object in a box, put it away, and nothing bad happens, it's most likely "Safe."
